Neo Steam, day three
So, today is the last day of the “Early Access” beta for Neo Steam. I finally got to the city of Nasdaim and did a few quests there.
Most of them consisted of running around and defeating a certain number of certain kinds of monsters. Some of which were harder to find than others.
Of special note, when I talked to Al Briem about the lunch delivery quest, he offered to warp me. I thought it kinda odd since the quest objective was inside the city, but I picked it anyway… and it sent me to Middle Helm! XD Oops!
I only got in about 2 hours of play today before they took down the servers, but I’m definitely coming back for the open beta tomorrow.
Some amusing tidbits from the last few minutes of the “Early Access” beta. The notice that the server was going to come down in 10 mintes started with, “Attention, ladies, gentlemen, and breakfast cereals…” At the five minute mark, after announcing it, came “It’s the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.” At two minutes, “Remember us fondly!” And at time up, “Server’s going down now, have a great day! See you in the Open Beta, and remember, think Neo Steam thoughts!” I certainly will. ^_^
