ai sp@ce watergun enemies

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Watergun shooting enemiesSo, as promised, on June 26th, ai sp@ce posted the next tidbit of information about their odd little watergun shooting game. This time, it’s information about the enemies in the game, and I will again attempt to translate what they have to say in this latest update. (If you’re lost about what the watergun shooting game is, you can read my previous post on the subject.)

More Lifesize Gundam Footage

1/1 Scale GundamMore awesome footage of the 1/1 scale Gundam in Odaiba. This video shows not only the side-to-side movement of the head and the steam from the chest, as we saw in my previous post about this giant Gundam, but also shows that the head can move up and down as well, and that steam comes out at the feet of the Gundam as well. Youtube video after the jump.

Miracle Painting〜Premium Edition〜I found this wonderful Sailor Moon spoof video through the most recent Weekly Miku post by dannychoo.com member tenrou. It’s a very nice song, and I love the Sailor Moon-inspired animation and magical girl transformation. n.n Youtube video after the jump.

Beautiful Gundam at Night

Saturday, June 13th, 2009

Lit up Gundam at duskSo the construction of that life-size Gundam in Odaiba finished this week. That in and of itself was awesome. What made it even more awesome is the fact that it lights up at night. Pink Tentacle has provided several beautiful photos of the lit up life-size Gundam in a blog post. An HD Youtube video of the Gundam has also popped up, showing that the Gundam not only lights up, but steams, has sound effects, and has a moving head. (It only shows a daytime view of the Gundam, however.) Hit the jump for it.

ai sp@ce watergun fight

Friday, June 12th, 2009

Watergun fight?!?Okay, this is kind of odd. But I figured people would like to know about it. I found out about it when checking the ai sp@ce website to see if there was some kind of known outage (or if it was just an issue with my computer).

Apparently ai sp@ce launched is launching some kind of new watergun shooting game. Now the fact that it’s a watergun shooting game isn’t what’s odd. Nor that it seems that you are playing it as your chara doll. No the odd thing about it is something else entirely.

AGTH with ai sp@ce

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

AGTH capture of in-game dialog with repeated charactersAs some of you who play ai sp@ce may be aware, the font used for in-game dialog is horrible. All too often, kanji with many strokes become unreadable blobs.

If you’re familiar enough with the kanji to be able to read it anyway, you’re okay. However, if you’re having to look up the kanji for any reason, it’s going to be almost impossible to do so. That is why I started looking into ways I could get at the text being displayed directly. In my searching, I found AGTH.

Neo Steam Questing

Friday, June 5th, 2009

Level 23 in Neo SteamSo, I sat down to play some more Neo Steam, with the intent to get some more leveling done. One of my goals was to hit level 20 by the end of Open Beta, so that I could be entered into the drawing for a pair of Neo Steam steampunk goggles. I was at level 14 at the start of the evening, however, and didn’t anticipate reaching that goal in a single evening.

(Spoiler Warning: Some events of the Elerd story quests may be revealed in this post, so if you wish to avoid such spoilers, you may wish to not read further.)

New Wii Metroid Game

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

Zero Suit SamusSo Nintendo dumped a whole bunch of movies on the Nintendo channel this week, all 12 pages are new videos… it’s going to take me a while to get through them. However, there is one video that really surprised and excited me. Enough that I think I’ve watched it at least a half-dozen times already, and will probably watch more. What has me so excited? The new Metroid game for the Wii, due in 2010, entitled Metroid: Other M.
