Tasunke's Random Ramblings

So, the latest update on information about the ai sp@ce watergun shooting game came out on July 17th. Unfortunately, I’ve been a bit busy, and haven’t gotten around to looking at it until now. If anyone’s actually reading these posts, I’m really sorry about that. ^^; If you have no idea what I’m talking about, I might suggest reading my previous posts about this game, where I discuss the enemies and some of the basics of the game.
It seems the mysterious silhouette from last time is a girl that’s the mastermind behind this entire situation. In other words, the one sitting in the background and pulling the strings.

So, once again, let us commence with translation! ;)

The image at the top says:

ついに明かされたシルエットの正体とは…！？

Translation:

The finally revealed true form of the silhouette is…!?

Along the right side of the page is this large image of a girl that is the true form of the silhouette from the last update.
The text says:

事件の黒幕は女の子!?

Translation:

The mastermind of the plot is a girl!?

Yes, yes apparently she is. Who’s actually suprised by this? *crickets chirp* Thought so. ;)

Continuing, down the left we have some more text. Starting with a large header that reads as follows:

突然ai sp@ceを襲った不可思議な出来事。

Translation:

The unfathomable event of ai sp@ce suddenly being attacked.

Continuing on….

機能停止を続けるキャラドルの報告は、今も着々と外神田事務所に届いている。そんな報告を集める中で、外神田事務所には大きな疑問が生まれていた。

「余りにも手際が良すぎる。」

これは優れたブレーンか、実戦部隊がいるはず……1枚の画像が届いたのは、そんな時だった。

大胆なボンデージの上に羽織った白衣。そして、挑戦的な視線と口元に浮かんだ不敵な笑み。キャラドルが機能停止に陥った現場のいくつかで、そんな女性の姿が目撃されているのだ。

我々が、必死の思いで入手した情報によると、彼女の名前は「ラピス」彼女はいったい何者なのか??

わずかではあるが、我々のリサーチによって明らかになった、「ラピス」の情報をここに記載していこう。

Translation:

The interrupted charadoll report is now continuing to arrive at the Sotokanda office. Producing that kind of a report created a large problem for the Sotokanda office.

“Too much skill is too good.”

This genius was of course in a combat unit[A1] … … One image has been recieved, from that time.[A2]

The doctor’s coat she put on over the top of that daring bondage outfit.
Also, the challenging look in her eyes and her mouth turning up[A3] in that fearless smile.
That kind of woman was witnessed at the at the scene where a charadoll collapsed and ceased functioning.

According to the intelligence we frantically obtained, her name is “Lapis.” What kind of girl is she??[A4]

There’s only a little, but let’s list what information about “Lapis” that has become clear to us from our research.

Translation Notes:
[A1] Really shaky on this section. Literally, it says something to the effect of “This is an excellent brain, in a combat unit as a matter of course.”
[A2] Literally was more like, “One image that was recieved, that time was.”
[A3] Literally was more like, “The fearless smile that caused her mouth to become merry.” Or something like that. Her mouth “turning up” in a smile seemed equivalent to me.
[A4] This worked better in English to split this up into two sentences.

Whew, that’s the first glob of text, finished! ^^; Next are a couple more captioned pictures on the left side.

ラピスと一緒に目撃されたロボット。強力な武器を搭載していると予想される。

Translation:

Lapis with observation robot. In anticipation of the loading of powerful weapons.

戦闘フィールドでは月が異常接近中。これもai sp@ce内の異変の影響なのだろうか？

Translation:

On the battlefield, the moon is becoming abnormally close. Here and in ai sp@ce, what will be the effect of this disaster?

On the left of those images is what looks like a dossier on Lapis. This is what it says:

ラピス

ちょっとエッチで、わがまま放題な美少女。
そして機械・科学・工学に強いマッドサイエンティスト。
知的だが異常。
自分が一番でないと気が済まないタイプで、
ある意味素直な性格とも言える。

口調はどこまでも可憐で可愛らしく、ちょっと舌ったらず。
その言葉はどこまでも不遜で横暴、それでいてエロティック。
もちろん、性格はとってもサディスティック。

Translation:

Lapis

Being a little ecchi, she’s a beautiful girl that’s as naughty as you want.
And, a mad scientist that’s strong in Mechanical Engineering Science.[B1]
She’s intelligent, yet abnormal.
She’s the type that doesn’t put herself first and doesn’t feel good about herself, in a sense you could say that she has a frank personality.[B2]

Her tone of voice is throughly cute, sweet with a slight lisp.
Her manner of speech is persistently arrogant and high-handed, and yet still erotic.
Of course, her personality is exceedingly sadistic.

<Character Design>

Translation notes:
[B1] Literally it says something more like “Mechanical Engineering Science Engineering,” as best I can tell. That was kinda redundant, so I translated it as “Mechanical Engineering Science.”
[B2] 素直 has a couple of different definitions, the first being, “obedient; meek; docile; unaffected,” and the second being, “honest; frank.” I chose the second one.

Slightly below the above text, there’s 3 sets of buttons which give you voice samples to listen to. The label above them is: “Lapis Sample Voice.” She is voiced by 柏木美優. I believe that’s read in western name order Miyuu Kashiwagi. Am I the only one who finds this overly cute voice somewhat disturbing given the character design and described personality? ^^;;

Anyway, the last little bit is the teaser for the next info update, which is scheduled for August 08.

Translation:

Look forward to details about the cosplay watergun shooting game’s major factor, “cosplay,” in the next update (planned for 08/07)!

Guess we have another week or so to wait for the next update. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to that one sooner than I did this one! ^^;
