No Answer, No Live!
Sorry I didn’t get to this post until now, but midterms have been killer. ^^; I went to Halko Momoi’s Osaka concert on her “No Answer, No Live!” concert tour last Saturday. It was quite fun, though tiring, as it was standing room only at the venue, so I was on my feet for several hours.
They gave us a “call book” before the concert started. This book basically has the lyrics for (most of) the songs momo-i was going to sing that night, along with instructions on what the audience should call out and the motions they should do during the songs. I don’t know if this is common in the west, as I’ve never really attended much in the way of concerts back in the US. ^^;
Regardless, I found it quite fascinating. I read what I could, and tried to ask my Japanese friends that were with me about the parts I didn’t understand. I tried to participate as much as possible, but I wasn’t able to do everything. Especially when there were several sentences of Japanese the audience was supposed to shout out during interludes. ^^;
Below you can find some shots of the call book. I hope I’m able to go to some more concerts while I’m here. ^^
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. There was something else I wanted to mention. She was wearing one of those cute tiny off-center top hats like Mio Akiyama wore in the K-ON! ED animation.
