So, a new trailer for the Japan-only (as far as I know) PSP game 初音ミク -Project DIVA- was recently released. For those that don’t know about Hatsune Miku (初音ミク), she’s a character created for the Vocaloid 2 “Character Vocal Series.” Vocaloid is voice synthesis software used to create music vocal tracks. The “Character Vocal Series” is a series of voice packs for the Vocaloid 2 engine. These voice packs are represented by fictional characters such as Hatsune Miku.

Sure, this is about 5 months old, but it’s new to me, and amusing. n.n
Some of you may be familiar with 「電脳フィギュア　ＡＲｉｓ」 (Cyber Figure ARis), which allows you to interact in real life with a virtual character, via a webcam and special symbols on blocks and other items. This is known as “Augmented Reality” and is where the “AR” in the name “ARis” comes from, if I remember correctly. Well, an enterprising soul known as Ionized created an Augmented Reality Mirai-chan… that does the umauma Caramelldansen dance. Video after the jump.

*laughs* Wow, this is a really funny skit that was performed at Fanime this year. Apparently a group did a Zero no Tsukamia (The Familiar of Zero) skit with an English dub of the Tsurupettan song called “Tiny Flat Chest”…. wow… Just watch… Youtube video and a link to where you can download the MP3 after the jump.
